Although GivingPoint staffers spend most of our time working for and with high school students, we still relish the opportunity to be in a classroom and speak with students. Such was the case on Thurs., Feb. 23, 2017, when our three staffers were invited to speak at Grady High School's College & Career Day.

Like most things, GivingPoint isn't perfect. Often, people call our offices and say their hours have been approved by a teacher or volunteer coordinator, yet they do not show as approved on the website.
Meagan Jain started Ageless interAction as a member of the GivingPoint Institute in 2014.
GivingPoint is proud to announce that three of Class of 2017 GYLA recipients are GivingPoint Institute alumni. They are Xavier & Edward Holliday and Chris Weaver. The award ceremony was held on Sat., Feb. 11, at the College Football Hall of Fame in downtown Atlanta.
Tai Anderson is one of GivingPoint's newest board members (more on that in another post), and he was also the host for the GivingPoint Institute's sixth workshop of the year on marketing and branding.
A former Grammy winner with the band Third Day, it's only fitting that Tai's presentation was framed as marketing like a R.O.C.K.S.T.A.R., which is an acronym for eight things social entrepreneurs (and anyone, really) should do to effectively get their brand out there.
Our first time participating in Feel Good Tuesday was such a success that the fine folks at YEAH! Burger are hosting GivingPoint for their weekly fundraiser once again!
GivingPoint will receive 10% of all dinner sales from YEAH! Burger's Virginia-Highland location (1017 North Highland Avenue Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30306) next Tuesday, Jan. 31, from 6-10 p.m. as part of the company's Feel Good Tuesday fundraiser. So join us for a delicious meal and a good cause.
In case you missed it, GivingPoint was featured on WSB-TV's People 2 People during Thanksgiving weekend!
The three-and-a-half-minute conversation, which can be seen here, touched on the basics of GivingPoint and how are students are getting involved in service learning in their local communities.
