Service Tags

GivingPoint wants to recognize teens for the legacies they are building as good community citizens. We have established a rewards and recognition program just for GivingPoint teens.

For extra good deeds, nonprofits can acknowledge and reward teens with Service Tags, each yielding bonus volunteer points.

How it works:

  1. Nonprofits create an account on GivingPoint (nonprofits can have multiple user accounts on GivingPoint if they wish)
  2. Nonprofits find their teen volunteers on GivingPoint (by searching their name)
  3. Nonprofits select to award teens with service tags
  4. Nonprofits can also send encouraging emails to their teen volunteers

Service Tag Descriptions:

Freshman Tag – (worth 25 points)

These tags are given to your teen volunteers who have invested considerable time (volunteering 4+ hours a month) at your nonprofit. You appreciate their efforts and believe they are making a big difference!

Nonprofits can give out an unlimited number of Freshmen tags per year.

Action Taker – (worth 100 points)

These tags are given to the teens that are regular fixtures at your organization. You can see the results of their work and you admire their dedication.

Each nonprofit user can only give 1 Action Taker tag per calendar year.

World Changer – (worth 200 points)

These tags are given to the teens that are organizing projects, helping you with special events, spending their Spring break vacations volunteering, and leading efforts to help your organization.

Each nonprofit user can only give 1 World Changer tag per calendar year.

Revolutionary – (worth 300 points)

These tags are given to the teens who have contributed their time, talent and treasure to help your organization. They have posted friend-raising and fund-raising projects on GivingPoint to help you raise awareness, volunteers and dollars. They have become a special part of your nonprofit family.

Each nonprofit user can only give 1 Revolutionary tag per calendar year.

We hope you use these points as incentives to get your teen volunteers more involved in your organizations! Together, we can motivate and inspire a new generation of life-long contributors!
