Here's What You Can Do To Earn Service Tags:

1. Volunteer for a cause you care about
2. Register as a GivingPointer and be sure to “affiliate” yourself with the nonprofit
3. Get to know the staff at the nonprofit and tell them about your work on GivingPoint to fuel your civic passion
4. Ask them to visit www.mygivingpoint.org to see your civic profile
5. Tell them about the GivingPoint Service Tags and let them that you hope they consider rewarding you with Service Tags!

Service Tag Descriptions:

Freshman Tag – (worth 25 points)

These tags are given to student volunteers who have invested considerable time (volunteering 4+ hours a month) at a nonprofit. Nonprofits appreciate their efforts and believe they are making a big difference!

Nonprofits can give out an unlimited number of Freshmen tags per year to their student volunteers.

Action Taker – (worth 100 points)

These tags are given to the students that are regular fixtures at a nonprofit organization (volunteering 12+ hours a month). Nonprofits can see the results of your work and they admire your dedication.

Each nonprofit user can only give 1 Action Taker tag per calendar year.

World Changer – (worth 200 points)

These tags are given to the students that are organizing projects, helping with special events, spending their Spring break vacations volunteering, and leading efforts to help their organization.

Each nonprofit user can only give 1 World Changer tag per calendar year.

Revolutionary – (worth 300 points)

These tags are given to the students who have contributed their time, talent and treasure to help an organization. Students have posted friend-raising and fund-raising projects on GivingPoint to help them raise awareness, volunteers and dollars. Students who get Revolutionary Tags have become community leaders through their nonprofits, and they are making a long-lasting impact on the organization.

Each nonprofit user can only give 1 Revolutionary tag per calendar year.
