Project Additional Details

Flood student missions has provided opportunities for students to serve for 4 years. Each month flood offers 3-4 projects targeting the homeless in Atlanta. Funds raised will be used for meals and snacks for the homeless outreach projects we have. Approximately 20-30 students serve every month and more than 400 homeless people are impacted each month by our homeless outreach.

The problem you want to help solve?
We want to help solve the physical needs of the homeless people in all of downtown Atlanta.
Why is it important?
Flood is important because we help the homeless out several times a month. Without and organization like flood, over hundreds of homeless people would be suffering.
Who will benefit?
Not only with the homeless people of downtown be impacted, but also the students who choose to serve will also be impacted.
What will you be doing?
We will be giving out food and toiletry items to homeless people as well as hanging out and talking with them.
