Project Date and Time

The project will last until the first of January because by then, we will need to start booking flights and letting host families know how much money they will need to put into this event.

Project Budget

For our budget, the French Club would love to say there isn't one, but there is. We would very much appreciate the donations because they would go towards activities such as baseball games, World of Coke, Underground, Georgia Aquarium, and other places that would appeal to them. Also, the money would go towards transportation because it is $475 for us to rent a bus and we would only be able to get it for a limited amount of time. With the money donated, we would be able to get to places together, safely, as a group.

Project Directions

We mostly need donations. Volunteers will be needed to either host a french exchange student (only allowed by French Club members of Alpharetta High School).

The problem you want to help solve?
We want to help solve the problem of money being spent. Instead of making the host families pay for all of the expenses, we are trying to fund-raise it this year!
Why is it important?
It's important because the French exchange students are coming here in order to learn more about the American culture. With little funds, we are very limited as to what attractions we take them to. We want to provide the students with a cultural experience, but we can only do that with sufficient funds.
Who will benefit?
The exchange students will benefit from this because they will have more activities to do and more places to go. The host families will benefit because it will be easier for them to be able to host, for they will not have to spend a lot of their money towards transportation, attraction fees, etc.
What will you be doing?
We will be hosting French exchange students in April of 2012 and will be taking them on a cultural experience throughout our great state of Georgia!
