Project Date and Time

The Partner With Youth Campaign has been in effect since the beginning of the year, and ends only when we reached our goal of $17,000.

Project Additional Details

As for volunteers, we are the only ones able to participate directly, however donations are always greatly encouraged for anyone; not just YMCA members.

The problem you want to help solve?
The money raised in this program is used to help children participate in our youth sports and after school programs that would otherwise be too expensive for their families.
Why is it important?
The YMCA is an organization that intends to serve the entire community, yet in the current economy, money is tight, and without this fund, the YMCA cannot reach this goal of total involvement in the community.
Who will benefit?
Although the fund is aimed particularly at children, the Partner With Youth Campaign provides for adults, disabled individuals, and the elderly as well.
What will you be doing?
I, along with the Ashford-Dunwoody Leaders Club and YMCA staff have been attending weekly phone-athons to call members nation-wide to assist us in our cause.
