Schools and nonprofits can post projects on GivingPoint to recruit teen volunteers, raise awareness and fund causes.

GivingPoint will connect you with teens and donors who want to make change happen.

Here’s how it works:

  1. You post a project for your school or nonprofit that needs teen volunteers and/or funds. GivingPointers will see your project, and if interested, register to volunteer.
  2. You can quickly and easily communicate with the teens who have registered for your project.
  3. Teens who volunteer at your project will get points! (5 points for every 1 hour of time and 10 points for every 1 hour of talent or skills-based volunteerism.) Please see http://www.mygivingpoint.org/reward for more information.
  4. You can reward the teens who did a great job with Service Tags. Please see http://www.mygivingpoint.org/reward/earn-service-tags for more information.
  5. If you are raising funds for a project on GivingPoint, you can monitor your fundraising progress until the end date of the project. Once a project reaches its funding goal, GivingPoint will send a check to the hosting school or nonprofit for the project. GivingPoint charges a 5% transaction fee to cover the costs associated with the administration of the funds. Please see http://www.mygivingpoint.org/terms-conditions for more information.
