Forest O
Titaninum Community Leader

About meI strive to unite and encourage my peers in the service of forgotten and ignored communities, and hope to help others discover their passion for philanthropy. I am a proud member of the Ashford-Dunwoody YMCA's Leaders' Club, of which I am the former Athletics Coordinator and Vice-President. The YMCA and GivingPoint have revealed my passion for work with children, and I feel especially energized toward improving the health care and educational prospects of children in under-resourced communities around the world. I am an avid soccer fan, the bassist in a fusion band, and trilingual. I have been blessed with the opportunity attend Vanderbilt University as one of eight Ingram Scholars--a merit scholarship awarded to scholars who double as social entrepreneurs. I will work to expand the reach of my service endeavors while earning a degree in Neuroscience and preparing for Medical School. |
