My 2nd Grant Application was accepted and I am so happy and proud of myself! It was a little different for me when I applied for my grants because I had to do them back to back. It took me a minute to figure out that you had to APPLY for the grant, so when I applied for my first one I had about 700 or 800 points, way past 500.  I found it easy to describe the different projects I was part of and what I would learn and what I hoped to learn, but I hit a snag when it came to the 2nd application when I reached 1000 points. I knew that I wanted ad needed the money from both grants to go towards my Mission: Costa Rica trip, but I knew I couldn't type EXACTLY the same things I mentioned in my first application. I ended up describing about the same things the 1st time I applied for my 2nd application, so Ansley Colby, a lifesaver, emailed me asking me to be more robust and descriptive in my second application because it looked too much liket he first one. I thanked her and immediately took this next task on as a challenge. I found and looked up new details and activities that I had not mentioned in my 1st application and I sent it in. I was nervous. But Ansley Colby emailed my back saying APPLICATION ACCEPTED!!!  :)

The language of the Byzantine Greeks since the age of Constantine had been Greek, although Latin was the language of the administration.EX0-101 From the reign of Heraclius, Greek was not only the predominant language amongst the populace but also replaced Latin in the administration.350-029 The makeup of the Empire had at first a multi-ethnic character that following the loss of the non-Greek speaking provinces came to 352-001 be dominated by the Byzantine Greeks. Over time, the relationship between them and the West, particularly with Roman and Frankish Europe, deteriorated. Relations were further damaged by a schism between Roman West and Orthodox East that led to
cissp the Byzantine Greeks being labeled as heretics. Throughout the later centuries of the empire and particularly following the coronation of Charlemagne in 800, the Byzantine Greeks were not considered by Western Europeans as heirs of the Roman Empire, but rather part of an Eastern kingdom made up of Greek peoples. However, the Byzantine Empire was the remaining half of the Roman Empire following the decline of imperial power in the West.

Thank you! ;)
