Thanks to GivingPoint, I was selected as a positive role model in my school! I was selected to participate in a life changing opportunity, sponsored by Bank of America. My principle suggested to me that I work with GivingPoint to apply for a Bank of America Student Leadership program for the summer of 2012.

As a Bank of America Student Leader I will have various opportunities presented to me to help expand my leadership skills. If selected as a participant within the program we would participate in a eight-week paid internship at a charitable organization, and a week-long Student Leadership Summit in Washington, DC. This leadership development program will greatly benefit me by helping provide me with valuable perspective on civic, social and business partnerships as positive forces of change within our communities. The Student Leadership Summit is directed by the Close Up Foundation, the nation's leading civic education provider. I look forward to hearing the results, I will be sure to keep my fellow peers updated, and I hope I am selected for this program.
