Happiness

This was a blog prompt I had a few weeks ago for literature. I thought it would be good to put up here too......

Happiness is seen differently by everyone. Some people think it’s mood, others think it’s not. I’m a person who believes that happiness is bland. Sorry, but it is. When someone asks you, “Are you happy?”, what do you do? Happy cannot convey feelings, at least not for humans. I would call a dog happy, but a human joyous, excited or exuberant.

If I were to name the three top ingredients for any of the more detailed descriptions of happiness, they would be:

1. A sense of where you have been: Yes, this may sound weird, but it’s true. The reason I wear bracelets on my hand(if you’ve noticed, world) is to show myself the hard times or where I’ve been in my life. I am much better off than I was before.

2. A sense of where you’re going: Having a future is key. Without it you can’t have any emotions. Right now, I’m looking forward to being done with homework, Friday, and College. These things make me excited.

3. Health: Yes, it may sound old, but you must have health to have happiness. When your health is unstable, your world stops.

Happiness is all in the eye of the beholder…. What is happiness to you?

Happiness to me is helping someone in some way and not expecting anything in return and then seeing the appreciation in their eyes and a smile on their face!

You are inspirational to many people. I can just tell (:

I really like this blog right here. This blog is very true.Happeness can be caused by many things.Say for instance if you have a boy/girl friend. They make you happy by showing support and standing strong to be there for you when something happens.Or even famiily can make you happy. When somebody accommplish a goal that they have been working on for a long time. You can even make your self happy by just being you and staying true.Worry about your life and not anyone elses.Once again love this blog.

Knowing what brings true happiness. What does bring true happiness? One psychologist said that happiness has three components—pleasure, engagement (involvement in such activities as work and family), and meaning (working toward a larger end or goal than self). Of the three, he listed pleasure as the least consequential and observed: “This is newsworthy because so many people build their lives around pursuing pleasure.”

Amen to all of that, I must say. This was really a great post, and gives meaning to the old adage 'short and sweet'. I feel really happy- and by happy I mean exuberant, joyful, euphoric. Fuel Pump
